The people in a particular village were given a television-the first one in the area. For a few days everyone watched it. Then , gradually they went back to listening to their storyteller.
"But why?" they were asked. "Your TV knows more stories than your storyteller does."
"That is true," the villagers answered. "But our storyteller knows us."
